We are a small two partner practice, that tries to provide a friendly, personal, and practical service. We believe that, in general, simple and down to earth solutions are usually the most effective. We also believe in keeping in touch with our clients so that we can understand the services and advice they require from us, and in taking a personal interest in them and their business. In short, our clients future is our future, and we want to build long term relationships upon a proper understanding of our clients needs.

The first point to make is that it costs nothing to talk to us about your affairs, to find out about us and the services we can provide for your benefit, and to see if we can do business together. The first meeting is, in our view, a "getting to know you" exercise. You need to have confidence in us, we need to collect information from you and to understand your business, priorities, and requirements, and you may well need an explanation of the implications of setting up a new venture, or of changing adviser. To do this task properly can take time but it is absolutely essential as it is the foundation of our relationship. For these reasons, we do not charge for an initial meeting, and nor do we impose a time limit on that meeting.

If you request us to perform a specific and agreed service at that meeting, a charge may be made for the service but this would be made clear to you at the time and before any costs were incurred.
